  2. What a beautiful area!! Always nice to read about dog friendly places, and I’m often surprised at some of the outdoor areas that aren’t. We were living in Florida at the time and we happened upon a lovely little park so we took our dog for a walk, and I couldn’t believe all the “no dogs allowed” signs. There was nothing remarkable about it, just a few little paths with some grass and trees.

    1. Yeah, unfortunately some places (and people) have been ruined by irresponsible dog owners. It’s always disappointing to see an outdoor area say it’s not pet friendly.

    1. yup! There are spaces in between the garden with no flowers that they can go. The paths wind through some wooded areas interspersed with flowers and gardens. It’s pretty obvious where they shouldn’t go so don’t worry about being confused 🙂

  3. It looks like a magical spot perfect for humans and pups! I’m sure Henry would love it to go on our bucket list. He’d love to travel as much as your pups. I think his goal is to be a traveling pup. It’s funny because Henry will sniff flowers and then look at me. I tell him, we don’t pee on flowers, and then he moves on to the next suitable pee spot. I guess he just needs to check to see if the rule has been dropped. 😀 Great guide, Tiffany! I’m sharing with all my dog parents.

  6. This is such a helpful guide! Its amazing that Garvan Woodland Gardens is so pup-friendly, but the no pond dipping rule is a total bummer – dogs *love* water! The map numbers sound handy, though; less chance of getting hopelessly lost among the tulips. And the Anthony Chapel window-peeking idea is genius for those times your dog decides the sermon is more interesting than the scenery. Just be prepared for the occasional doggy accident – part of the adventure, right? Definitely planning a visit with our furry friend soon, armed with water and a good umbrella!

  7. This is such a helpful guide for dog-loving garden enthusiasts! Its like a treasure map for finding dog-friendly beauty spots. The tips on avoiding the peacocks and steering clear of the poison plants are pure gold – better to have a sunburn than a vet bill, right? The advice about the Anthony Chapel window peeks and the Treehouse exclusion is a gentle nudge to keep our pups out of trouble (and off those boulders!). And the bathroom breaks – absolutely essential! Keeping everyone hydrated and shaded is key. Honestly, Garvan Woodland Gardens sounds like a paw-some place for a peaceful adventure with your four-legged best friend, as long as you follow the rules and pack the shade umbrella! A truly delightful read for planning a fun day out!
