Dog Christmas Party Ideas
Christmas parties can be a lot of work. Between choosing a party theme and decorations and setting up activities, food, and drinks, there’s a lot to do! Adding our four-legged friends to the mix means the whole party will need to be dog-friendly too.

11. Santa Paws Workshop
Tis the season for giving! Throw a dog Christmas party where guests bring donations for a local shelter. You can even set up an “Elf” station where people can make DIY enrichment toys for pups in need!
Get Ready to Bark the Halls and Deck the Paws!
Remember, the magic of Christmas isn’t just for humans- it’s for all creatures big and small. What better gift for your pup this holiday season than to give them your time? Including your pooch in your Christmas celebrations is a great way to guarantee that they don’t get ignored or left behind in the hustle of the busiest time of year. So grab your Santa hat and get ready to host an amazing howl-iday party. Merry Christmas!

What a fun list of ideas to celebrate the holidays with your furry buddy! The White Elephant gift party is always a fun one and ends in a lot of laughs. I’m sure Henry would opt for the cookie exchange idea and take them all. Super ideas, Tiffany! I’m sharing with all my pet parents.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Love these ideas, they’re so fun and creative. I love having guests bring items to donate to a local shelter and the gift exchange is a great idea! All the toys/accessories our dogs ignored can go to a good home.
I think we may do that party this year 🙂 It’s a fun way to support our local shelters and pups in need!
I would LOVE a Yuletide Ball. Oooh the fun of it!! As for a Christmas Photo party, I am sure we would all be laughing so much the photos would not be sharp!!!
You have offered some inspiring ideas here I am going to share with my dog buddies!!!
Thanks! I love changing up my party themes and figured other pet parents would too 🙂
These ideas seem so much fun, I would love to take Nili and go to one although we celebrate Hanukkah not Christmas but am always game for party, thank you for sharing them all
Happy Hanukkah! Parties are always fun to attend 🙂
I Love, Love, LOVE these ideas! They are all such fun ideas. I’ve not heard of a White Elephant gift exchange – I guess that means you exchange used dog toys? What a great idea! We all have too many dog toys don’t we, so why not share! Thanks for these great ideas, Tiffany!
yup! Everyone has toys there’s dogs don’t really use, better to give them away instead of letting them collect dust or throw them out 🙂
Oh, I love these ideas! The holiday photoshoot was always high on this shutterbug’s list! I even purchased some backgrounds! (Now folks can add them in digitally, but where’s the fun in that?!) I also love your White Elephant idea for dogs! I bet the dogs will love it, too! My Huskies always seemed to know when toys were coming into my house! And the Santa Workshop for rescue dogs is brilliant! So many fun and festive ideas!
Thank you! We tend to do our photoshoots on our own time, but if we ever put together a fun backdrop, I’d love to share it with friends and family
